This process uses oxygen and propane to produce a controlled flame that heats the steel to melting point, then forces an oxygen jet through the plate. This oxygen jet reacts with the steel to maintain the heat at melting point in the immediate vicinity.

We operate 3 ESAB Oxy Propane Gantries with 14 cutting torches that can profile from 12mm to 200mm thick plate.
-
Our Oxy machines operate using multi head cutting which makes these machines ideal for high batch production runs.
-
Our 36m x 3.5m Oxy track also allows us to cater for large scale plate profiling.
-
Our experienced team of CAD technicians work with the latest CAD/CAM software in order to achieve multi-part and multi-head nesting.
-
This enables Jamestown to achieve the fastest possible lead times and the highest quality at the most competitive price.
